Stags Vs Hens.. who wins?

Throughout history there have been some epic battles, but none greater than the war that rages between stags and hens. Both love a last-minute game of paintball before heading down the aisle, and both claim to be the best – but who would win were their paths to cross? Having seen both sides battle it out thousands of times over the years, we think we’re the perfect people to settle the argument once and for all. Here’s how the two sides measure up..

Round 1 – Enthusiasm

Sorry girls but when it comes to endless enthusiasm and commitment to the cause we’ve got to give it to the boys. Spurred on by the chance to pepper each other with paintballs stags go bouncing into battle bursting with enthusiasm. Don’t get us wrong, female fighters are some of the fiercest around, but there’s something about playing paintball that turns ordinary blokes into absolute loons that will run through brick walls to win a game of capture the flag.

Round 2 – Tactics

Great fighters are always great thinkers, and when it comes to tactical know-how it’s the ladies that lead the way. Before heading into battle hens tend to huddle up and hash out a plan, whereas stags stick to pre-battle banter and a more spur of the moment approach. A little bit of planning goes a long way in paintball, and that’s why we’re fairly certain a group of half-organised hens would absolutely slaughter an unsuspecting stag group. Sorry fellas.

Round 3 – Teamwork

In terms of teamwork it’s almost too close to call, but again we’re going to have to give it to the girls. Over the years we’ve seen some seriously well drilled teams turn up and take to the paintball field, but then we’ve also seen our fair share of team tantrums too. Both stags and hens are guilty of it, but simply down to the number of stags that run off like Rambo as soon as they hear the ref’s whistle, the women win this one.. just.

Round 4 – Experience

Don’t start celebrating just yet ladies, the stags have this one in the bag and the comeback could well be on! That’s right fellas, all those years of Call of Duty might not have been for nothing after all because when it comes to experience there can only be one winner. OK, so playing COD in your pants doesn’t perfectly prepare you for paintball, but it definitely doesn’t do your chances of survival any harm. Most blokes have previous paintball experience to call on too, which puts them at a clear advantage over their opponents.
