Here at Go Ballistic<\/a> we’re dedicated to introducing as many people as possible to the sport we love, and low impact paintball<\/a> gives kids as young as eight the chance to experience all the fun and thrills of a traditional game of paintball – which is why we’re such big fans! It’s not just us that love low impact paintball<\/a> though, most importantly it’s the children taking part that really love it, and with so much fun to be had it’s easy to see why<\/p>\n

You’re probably still wondering what exactly low impact paintball is though, right? So to put it simply it’s a fun-filled form of paintball that’s tailor-made for the next generation of wannabe action heroes. That’s right, it’s perfect for players aged between 8-11 years old, which means if you’re planning a party, scheduling a school trip or organising a dream day out it’s the perfect activity. The only down side is us big kids can’t take part!<\/p>\n

There are some big differences between standard paintball and low impact paintball<\/a> though, starting with the equipment used. With younger players taking part obviously safety is key, so to make sure everybody’s fully protected before heading into battle all players are kitted up with a specially adapted low impact paintball marker, a full-face paintball mask and some awesome looking body armour. The kit’s not just for show though, every single item is designed to make the action as safe as possible, including the marker which is tailor-made for kids. Not only are the markers used lighter and easier to handle, they also fire paintballs at a much safer speed for children, meaning no more nasty bruises. You still get the same distinctive splat though, and we all know paintball wouldn’t be half as much fun without the mess!<\/p>\n

The other main difference between standard paintball and low impact paintball is the missions and games that the kids get to take part in. The games played during low impact sessions are designed to deliver as much excitement as possible, whilst also placing a special emphasis on teamwork. Classic missions include raise the flag, capture the base and king of the hill, but whatever the game every player will have the perfect opportunity to shine.<\/p>\n
