Organising a Work Event
Ever wanted to get even with your boss without getting fired? If that’s the case then look no further than a day of paintball because you can get away with it – all in the name of fun. And there’s not a damn thing your boss can do about it!
Getting your workmates together for a day of bonding can prove to be more problematic than you’d think though because you possibly need to cater for people of both sexes, different ages and probably different fitness levels.
So what activity can you arrange to suit everyone? Well, that’s up to you but here at Go Ballistic we reckon you could do a lot worse than paintball. The game of paintball is a great leveller where brains can compete with brawn on an even playing field.

In that section of the website you’ll find a works do poster and invite form which will make it dead easy to advertise the day and invite all of your work buddys. All this means you just have to worry about turning up on the day and enjoy giving your boss a real pasting!
Aside from developing teamwork, increasing communication and breaking down barriers, paintball is great fun which effectively moulds its players into efficient teams. And all of this will pay dividends when you get back to the office by giving the whole place a real lift.
Why not organise a meal to follow where work colleagues can carry on letting their hair down over a few quiet (and then a few noisy) drinks?! It’s amazing how quickly people come together during a day of paintball which can only be good news for the boss.
And let’s face it, he’ll probably need some good news after becoming everybody’s target for the duration of the day. Why not make him your ‘VIP’ in a game where you have to escort him to safety or protect him from the enemy? He’ll get an ego boost out of it and you might even get a pay rise.
All in all, paintball is just a great social activity and is ideally suited to provide office entertainment. And when combined with an evening function it really provides a talking point. You never know, the boss might even pay for it on ‘expenses’ as well! Happy paintballing!
