What is Walk on Paintball

Walk-on paintballers are players who turn up at commercial sites without making a prior booking.

Although most sites require players to book except on designated walk-on days, some paintball venues are dedicated walk-on sites.

Walk-on players buy and use their own equipment and will have a good idea over what missions they want to play during the course of the day.

Walk-on players can often be mixed in with rookies or Rec Ballers who are playing for the first time so there’ll be a real range of experience out on the field.

Walk-on players may have to bide their time to get allocated to a team but their presence can be invaluable if a group has an odd number of people or if someone drops out of the game for any reason.
